Almu Corazón is the founder and creative heart behind Connecticut Spanish Club, a community‑centered language learning space rooted in connection, joy, and real‑world experience. 

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Almu grew up immersed in language and culture, sparking a lifelong passion for communication and meaningful learning. Before founding CT Spanish Club, Almu built her professional experience in communication, international strategic advising, and conflict resolution, learning to blend empathy, curiosity, and clarity in every interaction. This unique background—combining intercultural insight with relational skill—inspired the vision behind the Club: to make Spanish come alive not as a subject to memorize, but as a language to experience, share, and belong in. 

Under Almu’s guidance, CT Spanish Club has grown into a vibrant learning community where children and adults build confidence and linguistic fluency through play, storytelling, movement, music, and hands‑on creative projects. 

Her programs include group classes, private sessions, after‑school programs, themed workshops, and seasonal camps—all designed to connect language learning with everyday life and cultural curiosity. 

Almu also partners with schools and community organizations to bring customized Spanish and cultural enrichment programs to learners of all ages and backgrounds. These collaborations support not only language exposure, but also emotional intelligence, teamwork, and global awareness—helping students thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

I’m a mother of two, and my family inspires everything I do, including creating spaces where learning Spanish feels joyful, playful, and meaningful. I love traveling the world, having deep, curious conversations, and finding ways to give back to my community and to my own soul. For me, learning a language is never just about words—it’s about connection, curiosity, and sharing life experiences across cultures. 

Students often tell me that my classes feel warm, welcoming, and inspiring—and I like to think that reflects how I live my life: with heart, openness, and a sense of adventure.
